Signature at Reigate, leading the way in keeping our residents safe

Signature at Reigate Grange has launched an industry leading initiative to keep our dementia residents safe and secure whilst continuing to deliver a high level of care and compassion. The safety of our residents is our top priority. Technology now exists that can provide a greater level of safety and reassurance for friends and family of residents. This led us to Jayne Connery and her campaign for the vulnerable. Working with Jayne, we developed a programme that would see safety monitoring cameras installed in our dementia residents’ bedrooms with the consent of family members. To maintain complete transparency, Signature at Reigate Grange is working with Care Protect, which independently monitors the recorded footage. This new policy enables loved ones at the home to request safety monitoring in their family member’s bedroom and they can access and review the footage on request.

By installing safety monitor cameras, we have delivered further peace of mind and reassurance. The new technology has also benefitted our care team by enhancing and deepening our training programme to include a wider range of scenarios whilst boosting the confidence and performance of our carers.

Nursing Home Facilities at Reigate Grange

Reigate Grange offers nursing care in sumptuous surroundings. Residents can choose from two restaurants: the first a bistro for casual dining, the other a beautifully designed fine dining restaurant. We also have private dining facilities for those extra special family get-togethers.

Reigate Grange has its very own cinema room, guaranteed to keep everyone entertained. There is a hair salon on-site alongside a therapy room and activity room. Our activities team organises a seven-day-a-week activity programme, chosen by our resident committee. There are also cosy lounges and quiet rooms along with a well-stocked library.

Our services also feature 24 specialist dementia suites, designed to offer unique support for those requiring dementia care.
