Rob Martin

CEO

Rob is an experienced leader in health and social care, with many years of experience overseeing large portfolios of regulated services across the UK. As Chief Executive, he is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of Signature Senior Lifestyle, working closely with colleagues across all areas of the organisation to ensure high standards of care, a strong and positive culture, and a continual focus on meeting the needs of current and future residents.

Rob has extensive experience in operational leadership, quality improvement and organisational development. He has led services through periods of growth and change, always maintaining a clear emphasis on listening to and engaging with team members and residents, and empowering teams to perform at the highest levels. Drawing on a background that includes senior roles in both health and social care, as well as earlier service in the Armed Forces, Rob is committed to making sure residents and their families can feel confident in the quality of care and lifestyle offered across Signature’s homes, and that the organisation has a clear focus on learning, innovating, and evolving to meet the changing needs is residents and team members.

Steve Gardner

Chief Financial Officer

Steve joined Signature in 2021 and serves as Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility for all aspects of finance, procurement and IT.

Prior to joining Signature, Steve held senior finance leadership roles across the retail and hospitality sectors, giving him deep commercial insight and extensive experience supporting growth in fast moving, customer focused businesses. His background includes significant experience in M&A, debt and capital raising, as well as working closely with boards, investors and lenders through periods of transformation and expansion.

Steve qualified as a chartered accountant at PwC and combines rigorous financial discipline with a pragmatic, operational approach. He is passionate about building high-performing teams, embedding robust systems and processes, and ensuring the finance function enables the wider business to deliver consistently high standards for residents and stakeholders alike.

Chloe Furness

Operations Director

Chloe re-joined Signature Senior Lifestyle in 2024, having previously been with the organisation for many years earlier in her career. A Registered General Nurse, she has held a wide range of roles within the organisation, including Nursing Manager, General Manager and Regional Operations Director, giving her a detailed understanding of care delivery at every level. Now serving as Director of Operations, Chloe oversees the day-to-day performance of Signature’s homes, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance and the development of strong, supportive leadership teams. She works closely with regional and home leaders to promote positive cultures where colleagues feel engaged, and residents feel safe and well cared for.

Chloe also plays a key role in supporting the development of Signature’s newest services – whether that is an expanded care offer at a new home, or ensuring Signature’s newest homes open with the right foundations in place to deliver exceptional care from day one and for the long-term.

Wayne Pryce

Group Director of Development & Construction

Wayne has been part of Signature Care Homes for more than 17 years and plays a central role in shaping the design and development of its homes.

He oversees the development of our new homes, from site selection through to construction and ongoing facilities management, ensuring each home is thoughtfully designed, safe and built to the highest standards. His deep understanding of how homes operate day to day means that every environment is not only beautifully presented, but practical and comfortable for residents and colleagues alike.

Working closely with operational teams, Wayne ensures Signature Senior Lifestyle’s homes offer a welcoming, luxurious experience where residents can feel truly at home.

Will Guy

HR Director

Will joined Signature Care Homes in 2020 and leads the organisation’s people strategy across its homes and support teams.

With more than 20 years’ experience in human resources, much of it within the care sector, he is focused on creating supportive, professional and values-led working environments. He works closely with leaders and home teams to attract, develop and retain expert colleagues who are compassionate and committed to delivering the highest standards of care and hospitality.

Having joined during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, William played an important role in supporting colleagues through a challenging period for the sector, ensuring teams felt.

His priority is to foster a culture where colleagues feel respected and proud of the care they provide. Will’s work ensures Signature teams are well informed, valued, and supported, and that they have access to the very best training and career development opportunities.

Stephanie Bowie

Director of Sales & Marketing

Stephanie is Director of Sales and Marketing at Signature Senior Lifestyle, where she leads national sales strategy, brand positioning and occupancy growth across our portfolio of premium care homes throughout London and the South East.

With more than 20 years of experience across financial services, recruitment and senior living, she combines strong commercial thinking with a genuine belief in exceptional customer experience. Her move into the care sector was personal. After supporting a loved one in their search for care, she knew this was an industry where she could make a meaningful difference. From the beginning, she felt closely aligned with Signature’s approach and the reassurance it offers to families at such an important time.

Since joining the sector in 2014, Stephanie has progressed through a range of senior sales leadership roles, giving her a deep understanding of the journey from first enquiry through to strategic performance reporting. She believes great results come from clarity, accountability and teamwork, and is passionate about developing confident, high performing teams who truly care about what they do.

For Stephanie, commercial success and compassionate care are not separate ambitions. They go hand in hand. Her focus is always on ensuring that every interaction reflects the quality, warmth and trust that families expect from Signature.

Amanda Rae

Director of Quality & Governance

Amanda joined Signature Senior Lifestyle in 2025 as Director of Quality and Governance. She brings more than 20 years’ experience in social care, including senior leadership roles focused on quality, compliance and service improvement. Having previously worked as a Registered Manager, Operations Manager and Head of Quality & Compliance, Amanda has a detailed understanding of care delivery at every level. She works closely with operational and home teams to ensure services consistently meet high regulatory standards while remaining compassionate and focused on the individual needs and preferences of every resident.

Amanda is passionate about creating environments where residents feel respected and well cared for, and where colleagues are supported to develop their skills and confidence. Her focus is on continuous improvement, strong governance and embedding a culture of openness, accountability and high-quality care across every home.

Andrew Seal

Hospitality & Wellness Director

Andrew brings more than 20 years of experience in hospitality, including senior leadership roles within the care sector. He began his career in five-star and Michelin-recognised kitchens, where he developed a strong foundation in quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

He now leads hospitality and wellness across Signature Senior Lifestyle, overseeing catering, housekeeping and lifestyle services. Andrew is passionate about creating welcoming environments where residents enjoy excellent food, engaging activities, and beautifully maintained surroundings that support their comfort and wellbeing.

Believing that hospitality plays an essential role in overall quality of life, Andrew works closely with home teams to ensure Signature’s services are thoughtful, personal and responsive, helping to create homes where residents feel valued and truly at home.
