I trained at The Nightingale School of Nursing at St Thomas’s Hospital, gaining the coveted Nightingale Badge. Much of my career has been spent in hospitals, where I specialised in trauma and orthopaedics before moving into management. This culminated in my role as Director of Clinical Services, where I oversaw all clinical areas within the hospital.

About 15 years ago, I wanted to move into social care in order to really get to know those in our care and their families. I joined a nursing home in Guildford as Deputy Manager and progressed to become General Manager. During this time, the home was taken over by Signature and became part of the Signature family.

I have also undertaken a couple of regional roles within social care. Through these experiences, I realised that the role I love most is that of a Home Manager. For me, it is incredibly rewarding to learn and understand the needs of everyone within our home, ensuring that goals are achieved, questions are answered, and everyone feels heard and valued.

I am firmly committed to Coombe Hill Manor and to those who live and work here. As Client Liaison Manager, I am your first point of contact when you make an initial enquiry. I am committed to handling your enquiry with care and integrity, supporting you and your family throughout the process, from initial viewing to move-in, offering my full support, trust and guidance, as well as a listening ear. Having spent most of my career working within the banking and finance sector, the last six years working in social care have been very enlightening for me. I have learnt so much about elderly care and continue to learn something new each day. I have also had the honour of meeting some wonderful people and it has been a privilege to be part of their personal journey. Hand on heart, I can truly say that this is the best job in the world, where each day brings a new challenge and experience.

I have over 16 years’ experience delivering advanced medical and surgical nursing across both the NHS and private sector. Throughout my career, I have held senior leadership roles including Director of Nursing, Clinical Director and Band 8a Senior Nurse, with extensive training in critical care and high dependency settings. I completed my pre and post graduate studies at the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery, King’s College London, including an MSc in Gastrointestinal Nursing, and trained as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at City, University of London.

I am deeply passionate about my profession and committed to creating a positive, compassionate experience for our residents and their families. In my role as Clinical Services Manager at Signature, I play a key part in upholding and enhancing the ethos of the home, while supporting and developing our team to deliver the very highest standards of care.

I have been passionate about dementia and memory care since beginning my career as a Carer 12 years ago. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred care and supporting people to live with choice and purpose. For me, dementia care is about seeing the person beyond their diagnosis, celebrating their life story and making every moment count. It is a privilege to be part of their journey and create moments that bring comfort, connection, and happiness.

I have worked across a variety of industries throughout my career, but joining the care sector was a completely new experience for me. It is a field that has quickly become very close to my heart, and one that aligns strongly with my values.
