With over 12 years of experience in the care sector, including more than eight years in leadership and management roles, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals living with dementia and complex behavioural needs.
My experience has given me a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of people living with dementia, as well as the importance of supporting families through every stage of their journey.
I am passionate about delivering truly person-centred care and believe every resident should be treated as an individual, with dignity, compassion, and respect. Behind every diagnosis is a person with a lifetime of memories, relationships, achievements, and experiences, and this should always remain at the heart of the care we provide.
I lead by example and believe in maintaining high standards through visibility, teamwork, and empowering colleagues to grow in confidence and develop their skills. My aim is to create an environment where residents feel safe, valued, and genuinely at home.
What inspires me most is making a meaningful difference in residents’ everyday lives. There is no greater reward than seeing a resident smile, express their gratitude, or describe their community as home, knowing they feel secure, comfortable, and truly cared for.
I am excited to bring my experience, energy, and passion to Signature at Surbiton and help create an outstanding dementia community that sets the benchmark for exceptional care.
