Coronavirus Update

Further to my recent communication, I would like to provide you with an update on the current status of our home operations. Firstly, I would like to report that, in the main, it is ‘business as usual’ at Signature despite the unprecedented challenges we all face in these times of lockdown. Whilst staffing levels continue to be impacted by isolation protocols, we are maintaining sufficient cover across all departments and ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and attention.

I would like to thank all residents and family members for respecting our current no visitor protocol. I totally appreciate how difficult this must be however rest assured that we remain fully focused on the wellbeing and safety of our residents. In order to promote regular contact with family and friends we have introduced heightened technology initiatives at each home which will allow our residents to stay in virtual contact as and when required.

I’m delighted to report that across all our homes we have been inundated with messages of goodwill and support from local community groups. This is testament to the enduring relationships we have built with our wider communities and validates the spirit of human kindness which resonates with us all at times like these.

We will continue to keep you informed as the situation evolves and circumstances within our home operations change. Your support is incredibly important to us and we thank you sincerely for your understanding.

Sincerely,

Aidan Roche

“It is charming in every way – a home from home but 100% nicer! From the receptionist onwards, everyone was wonderful – food was delicious, an utterly brilliant chef. They manage to create a wonderful atmosphere of a first class hotel with a lot of personal attention and warmth.“ (Resident at Signature Wimbledon, comments from carehome.co.uk)

Not only did they care for my Father but they were very supportive of my situation and gave me the upmost confidence and support. The home doesn’t feel like a care home, it has incredible facilities and feels like a top class hotel. I would highly recommend it for either respite or long term.” (Daughter of Resident, comments from carehome.co.uk)
