Signature offers purpose-built dementia areas for our residents living with dementia. The areas are open plan and naturally-lit, with extensive social and entertainment facilities. Our specially trained staff are able to offer unique support to those requiring dementia care.
“Our mother moved into Signature 14 months ago – initially into one of the spacious assisted living rooms and then as her condition progressed into a room in the Dementia community. She enjoys life at Signature, especially the fantastic entertainment programme – it is super to see her singing and clapping to the live music and she loves so many of the musical activities. Not only are activities available but the whole care team work to ensure that as many residents as possible enjoy them.
We have been struck by the care shown by the staff – for example sitting with my mother as she struggles to finish her food – long after the other residents have finished and taking the trouble to match my mother’s outfits and jewellery and encouraging her to go to the hairdressers so she looks and feel her best.
