General Manager

I started with Signature in December 2018, in Brentwood, Essex , I was very proud to call it home for just over three years.  During that time, I achieved the accolade of ‘The Care Home Registered Manager’ finalist in the Great British Care Awards for the London Region. I then went on to commission and open a new Signature home in Barnet and now after 1 ½ years , I am very proud, excited, and privileged to commission our new luxury home, Signature at Highgate.  Myself and the team are very excited to start welcoming our residents in the upcoming months.

I have over 10 years’ experience in managing Care and Nursing facilities in and around London, as well as over 25 years management experience working in the Health, Leisure, and Fitness Industry before I made the decision to move into the Care Sector, which is one of the best decisions I have ever made!  Working in the Leisure industry sounds a million miles away from what I do now, however you will be surprised on how many similarities there are, especially when it comes to ensuring that the care , safety and wellbeing of our Residents, Relatives and staff are at the forefront of the decisions I make, and the day to day running of a Care facility.

I am extremely proud and privileged to be part of an organisation that truly believes in providing exceptional and award-winning care , enabling our residents to be who they are, enjoy life , be happy, make friendships, remain active, and treated with the utmost dignity and respect. As well as investing in our Staff and ensuring that they are the best at what they do.

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Residential Manager for Signature at Highgate, a remarkable new luxury care home. It brings me immense joy to be part of the esteemed Signature family once again, after successfully opening and working at Signature at Barnet.
As a qualified nurse with over fifteen years of experience in the elderly sector, I am excited about the opportunity to create a nurturing and luxurious environment for our residents at Signature at Highgate. Building on my previous experience, I am committed to ensuring that every aspect of our residents’ lives is enriched, and their well-being is prioritized.

Working alongside an exceptional team, I am eager to utilize my skills in managing day-to-day operations, fostering a collaborative work environment, and delivering personalized care that exceeds expectations.

My goal is to make Signature at Highgate a place where residents feel cherished, safe, and truly at home.
I believe in the power of building strong relationships with residents, their families, and the community. By actively engaging with local healthcare providers and participating in outreach initiatives, I aim to create a supportive network that enhances the lives of those we care for.

Dementia Care Manager

I have worked in the care sector over 20 years with a noted 5 years within the market leading Signature Family. I have held the positions of both Dementia Care Manager and Residential Care Manager, but Dementia Care is my passion, and it is such a rewarding and fulfilling role.

As Dementia Care Manager at Signature Highgate, it is my responsibility to ensure that our residents are delivered the highest standards of person-centred care and that they are supported to live a fulfilling and happy life whilst living with Dementia.

I feel very blessed to be a part of another beautiful signature home and I am confident that we can make such a difference in crucial moments in our resident’s journeys, and I am honoured to be trusted with the care of your loved ones.

I am extremely privileged to be part of my second commissioning home with Signature and I am looking forward to the opening of our flagship home, Signature at Highgate.”

I started my journey with Signature in September 2021 as a Clinical Service Manager. My nursing career developed in 2010, and I gained experience from different roles that I had in management in the private healthcare sector. I have found my passion in working with the elderly and providing excellent services and care, which enables and empowers people to have the best quality of life. Having the opportunity to work as part of the Signature team gives me the opportunity to strive for excellence by putting into practice the skills and knowledge gained in care over the years.

Swapnil Shinde

Hospitality Manager

I started with Signature in May 2018 in Wimbledon. In my role of Hospitality manager, I will be managing an engaged and dedicated team to deliver luxury Hospitality throughout the home to our residents and their families. I am committed to delivering the highest standards of service and satisfaction. I’m adept at managing large teams and appreciate the importance of consistency.

Prior to joining Signature at Highgate , I worked for Signature Barnet, Hendon, Wimbledon, and Wandsworth.

Previously I worked in the hotel industry at The Metropolitan Hotel, Park Lane in London. I have a post graduate qualification in Hospitality Management, and I believe I bring passion, creativity, and style to my role.

Coming to a care home environment was initially challenging but offered tremendous satisfaction and opportunities and I was confident that I could improve the quality of our residents’ lives with my track record gained working in luxury environments.

Courtney Moncur

Client Liaison Manager

Having worked in care for over 14 years in various roles I am excited to be a part of Signatures new flagship home at Signature Highgate as Customer Liaison Manager.  Over the years I have worked for different care providers within a variety of positions from Activities manager to Customer relationships manager, I feel this gives me a true insight into how to help delivery of person-centered care and a fulfilled lifestyle.

This will be the second home I’ve opened with Signature, I continue to be excited by their dedication to offering luxury living with exceptional care.  In my role, I am the first point of contact for families seeking care. I love getting to know each individual resident and I am dedicated to using my knowledge and experience to help families through what can be a difficult time.

After 10-year career in hospitality industry Avid joined Signature in 2021, in the midst of the Covid pandemic, Avid said “I am privileged to say that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It is so rewarding to be part of an organization that makes a difference in people’s lives.

I am extremely proud and excited to be part of the team opening our flagship home at Highgate. Signature at Highgate is a care home dedicated to respect and dignity. My colleagues and I will be here to support the residents and their families during what is often an emotional and stressful time of their lives and provide them with peace of mind.

Tony Tripe

With over 28 years experience in the catering industry, I have had the opportunity to work at many fantastic organisations, including GE, one of the world’s largest, global companies. During my time as Executive Chef at Elstree Studios, I enjoyed cooking for celebrities and took pride in my work being presented on many TV shows and adverts including Big Brother and Strictly Come Dancing. Whilst working at the Grove Hotel, I had the opportunity to cook for the England Football Team which led to a further commission of travelling to other venues with the team to provide their catering. I am excited to see Signature continue to grow through the hard work and passion of the Signature team.

Race Chamberlain

Maintenance Manager

I am so excited to be opening and commissioning my third new build home for Signature. I feel totally honoured and privileged to be seeing the homes begin their journey as a building site, and to follow their path into being fully open, and welcoming our residents into their new home. I am so excited to be opening the home with such a great team, and for me to be able to pass on my knowledge of the building and its systems as we start to grow. As with all of my previous homes, I will ensure that everyone has a safe and warm environment for us all to be in.
