Luxury Care Home in Hornchurch

We thoroughly recommend the home. My father moved here aged 100 years. Daddy has constantly said how excellent the staff are. They are attentive, respectful and so kind. The atmosphere is cheerful and welcoming for all the family, while also understanding of all complex needs. Above all this, Daddy loves the decor of the place and he has been able to join in activities that he wouldn't have been at home.

My mother stayed at Signature at Ascot for respite care after suffering a nasty break of her wrist. The staff were very friendly and helpful which included taking her back to the hospital for outpatient appointments. They even made her a birthday cake as her birthday fell during her stay. Highly recommended.

Coombe Hill is a wonderful, happy place. My Dad has been here for six months and the progress that he has made in that time, following a stroke, is remarkable. Mark made the whole process of moving my Dad in seamless and stress-free. He could not have been more helpful and compassionate. The activities and exercises classes on offer are wide-ranging to suit a variety of interests. There is also enough space to be as private as you wish. The daily menu offers a huge range of choices and the standard of food, which I have sampled many times, is excellent. The staff are warm, gentle and respectful with an excellent sense of humour. I feel my dad is in very good hands and I often tell him how spoilt he is (particularly on his birthday when everyone made such a fuss of him)!

Signature at Highgate does not feel like a residential care home. The staff are all attentive, helpful and subtle in the way that they support my mother so that they seem more like caring friends than carers. She can remain independent in all her choices and activities while accessing a full range of in-house entertainment. As an example, saying that she likes opera, several operas have been screened in the cinema especially for her. The facilities are more like a luxury hotel with food freshly prepared for each dinner from a small but varied and healthy menu. Guests are always welcome and can be hosted in her private apartment or the public lounges with free coffee and cakes provided. Saying that she likes granola for breakfast, it appeared on the menu by day 3!

I’m very impressed with the care for my 96-year-old mother. The warm, friendly staff are always attentive to her needs. Signature’s first-class facilities, including beautiful lounges, a restaurant, a cinema, and bar, are exceptional.
