Our Commitment to Dementia Research – Partnering with BRACE

Signature Senior Lifestyle is proud to partner with BRACE, a leading dementia research charity, to raise £25,000 in 2025 in support of a Dementia Research Nurse. This nurse will play a critical role in advancing dementia diagnosis, care and treatment at the Bristol Brain Centre.

As part of this landmark partnership, Signature at Farnham Common will:

  • Organise fundraising events, from bake sales to dementia cafés, engaging our residents, loved ones and the local community.

Bluebells Dementia Café

Every Wednesday | 10am – 12pm
Join us at Bluebells Dementia Café, a welcoming space for those living with dementia and their carers. Held in our Bluebell dementia community, this is a chance to connect, relax, and find support while enjoying homemade cakes, tea, and coffee. Guests can take part in engaging activities, meet our residents, and experience our caring approach first-hand.

Dementia-Friendly Cinema Screenings

Monthly in our Signature Cinema
Enjoy a relaxing cinema experience in a safe and comfortable setting. Our monthly dementia-friendly screenings are open to residents, families, and the local community. Visitors will receive a cinema ticket upon entry, just like a traditional film screening, with popcorn and refreshments provided. Stay tuned for upcoming dates!

Dementia Choir

Every Thursday | 4:15pm – 5:15pm
Music brings people together, and our Dementia Choir is a highlight of the week! Led by local music teacher James, the choir meets in our café area to sing songs that reflect the season or special celebrations. Open to both dementia and assisted living residents, this uplifting activity encourages participation, connection, and joy.
