Studio Apartments
All of our suites are spacious, open-plan studio apartments featuring a bedroom area, seating area and a kitchenette, an offering not included by most care home providers. These airy, well-appointed rooms also come furnished with a private telephone line, television and hospitality services. Studios are carefully designed with modern mobility and safety features to support independent living and many studios feature a balcony or patio; the perfect place to enjoy wonderful weather in peaceful privacy.
Our studio apartments are open plan, featuring a bedroom area, seating area and an en-suite wetroom. All of our studios offer a kitchenette. Balcony or patio access is available in many cases. All studio apartments are light and airy and offer a private telephone line and TV as well as mobility and safety features.
All of our studios are significantly larger than the industry average. The following are average sizes for the three apartment types we offer at Caversham:
- Studio Apartment – 269 square feet
- Studio Plus – 319 square feet
- Studio Deluxe – 326 square feet

Dementia Studio Apartment
Signature at Caversham provides a specialist dementia care community, uniting a collection of expansive apartments with a shared living environment comprising a kitchen, dining area, lounge, and activity area, accompanied by a garden purpose-built with thoughtful safety features to afford beneficial sensory stimuli to those living with dementia without presenting any risk.
All of Signature’s dementia care communities incorporate non-intrusive environmental adjustments designed to improve residents’ quality of life by supporting any sensory or cognitive challenges. These modifications include comforting décor and automatic motion sensor lighting, as well as clear way-finding signage, contributing to a safe and supportive atmosphere in which residents are empowered to live well.
