With over 13 years of experience in the care sector, I am proud to lead the dedicated team at Signature at Ascot, ensuring we deliver the highest standards of care within a luxurious and welcoming environment. I began my career as a Care Assistant, gaining invaluable first-hand experience of the importance of truly personalised care. Through perseverance, continuous learning and a deep commitment to meeting every resident’s individual needs, I have progressed within the sector, working alongside passionate professionals who share a genuine desire to serve and support others. Having been part of the Signature family since 2018, I am delighted to now call Ascot home. As a people person, I strongly believe in leading with responsibility, integrity, kindness and compassion, and in doing everything I can to help those in my care. It is a privilege to work in a sector that allows me to live these values every day, and I am committed to ensuring every resident at Signature at Ascot feels valued, supported and truly at home.

Residential Care Manager

Karen Baladad

I am privileged to be part of this caring, passionate and amazing team at Signature at Ascot. With 11 years of experience working in the healthcare industry, I am committed to delivering a person-centred approach to care for the residents. I successfully earned my BSc in Physiotherapy in the Philippines which launched my healthcare career. I continued studying in the UK and completed my Graduate Diploma in Health and Social Care Management. I am proud of the excellent care we deliver at Signature at Ascot, knowing that the residents we support are living their best lives in a beautifully well-kept home.

 

Dementia Care Manager

Shahida Mumin

I am delighted to have joined the outstanding team at Signature at Ascot, committed to bringing my passion for care and over 9 years of experience in Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Palliative Care. As the Dementia Care Manager, I am here to support the team in delivering exceptional person-centered care to our residents, and I am passionate about all people living within a care setting being able to lead a happy and fulfilled life in the right environment. I have completed a BSc in Health Care Management, and I am looking forward to implementing ideas to ensure we are reaching outstanding levels of care.

Client Liaison Manager

Tracy Campbell

My role is to help families and residents from their very first enquiry through to moving in to our home. It can sometimes be a very difficult and emotional time with a huge transition for everyone involved. It gives me real pleasure to take people on a tour of our home and then see them settle in, make new friends and join in with activities that they were no longer able to do before coming to Signature. I love seeing the smiles on the faces of family and friends when they come to visit their loved ones, knowing that they made the right decision to come to Signature. It’s such a rewarding job!

Head Chef

Sebastian Staszak

 

I am an accomplished Chef with over 15 years of experience in high volume and luxury hospitality environments. My career includes senior roles with Hilton Hotels at both Heathrow and Wembley, where I played a key role in the hotel’s opening and the delivery of high profile events. I am particularly passionate about fresh food preparation, mentoring chefs, and creating efficient, positive kitchen environments. I joined Signature Senior Lifestyle at Ascot in 2022 and was promoted to Head Chef in May 2025, in recognition of my leadership, culinary expertise and operational excellence. Today, I am focused on delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents while driving team development and continuous improvement within the kitchen.

Maintenance Manager

Ayhan Hassan

I am the Maintenance Manager at Signature at Ascot and also serve as Signature’s Regional Senior Engineer. My role is to ensure our home is safe, well maintained and running smoothly, working closely with our General Manager and Client Liaison Manager, as strong communication is essential in creating a great environment for residents and team members alike. I trained in carpentry and joinery before building my career in two five star hotels, where I developed a passion for engineering and building systems. I later spent almost 15 years with Bupa as a Maintenance Manager, supporting multiple homes across Surrey. I joined Signature because of its exceptional standards and values, and I am proud to be part of a business that truly puts people first.

Chartered Physiotherapist

Jonathan Lauguico MCSP

I specialise in managing chronic, painful conditions that impact mobility and function such as Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis. As well as helping regain and improving mobility, strength, flexibility to support fall prevention. I also have considerable knowledge and practice in neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s traumatic brain injury as well as post operative rehabilitation of the hip and knee.
