General Manager

Stefanel Cocioaba

With over 13 years of experience in the care sector, I’m proud to lead the dedicated team at Signature at Ascot. My role is to ensure we deliver the highest standards of care in a luxurious, welcoming environment—while upholding the values of kindness, integrity and compassion in everything we do.

I began my career as a care assistant, learning first-hand the importance of truly personalised care. Along the way, I’ve been privileged to meet incredible residents and work alongside passionate professionals who’ve shaped the leader I am today.

Having been part of the Signature family for seven years, I’m delighted to now call Ascot home. It’s a joy to see the difference we can make every day—and I’m committed to ensuring every resident here feels valued, supported and truly at home.

Client Liaison Manager

Tracy Campbell

My role is to help families and residents from their very first enquiry through to moving in to our home. It can sometimes be a very difficult and emotional time with a huge transition for everyone involved. It gives me real pleasure to take people on a tour of our home and then see them settle in, make new friends and join in with activities that they were no longer able to do before coming to Signature. I love seeing the smiles on the faces of family and friends when they come to visit their loved ones, knowing that they made the right decision to come to Signature. It’s such a rewarding job!

I joined a nursing agency as well and looked after head trauma clients, then I joined private care in 2018 and became a Clinical Services Manager. Head Chef

Hugo van der Walt

I moved to the UK from South Africa in 2002 and fell in love with a career in the hospitality industry some 20 years ago. I have been inspired by many chefs in my career who believed in me and encouraged me to be brave in experimenting when it came to food. I found my natural flair was with good homemade cooking with an added twist. As I gained my experience, I was promoted along the way working from Chef de partie to second Chef to Head Chef – which I have been for the past 10 years. I am now coming into the care home sector of my career. I enjoy working with the team and the residents in creating old time favourite recipes and meals that they will all thoroughly enjoy, making a difference in their lives here in their home with a well-balanced nutritious diet with of course the naughty treats here and there.

Business Admin Manager

Nikki Lyon

I joined the team at Ascot in June 2020 and have enjoyed the last 4 years seeing the home grow and flourish. I have spent the previous 12 years working on the administrative side in different care settings after working for 20 years as a PA with Cambridgeshire Constabulary. I enjoy working in these beautiful surroundings and coming in to the home each morning, not knowing what to expect as each day is different. I am proud to be a member of such a great team here at Ascot.
