One day in the meadows some of the carers decided to engage with the residents with different games and activities. We did jigsaw puzzles adult colouring and a card matching activity. Some of the ladies sat around the table and worked together, to put the cards into different categories of transport, food and tools. They were very pleased with themselves when they had finished.

We also had fun using ‘Pattern Blocks’. This is a bit like a jigsaw with a template of a plane, cup, fish etc.. where we had to work together to get the different shaped wooden pieces to match the images on the cards. Some were harder than others.
