In tribute to the recent 75^th Anniversary of V.E. Day we asked families and loved ones of the residents in the Meadows to give us information and photos about what their loved ones were doing and where they lived during World War 2.

From the information that we received, we then collated a collage of the resident’s photos and facts about them from that time. The residents really enjoyed looking at their old photos and reminiscing and it stimulated a lot of discussion on some topics which hadn’t been mentioned before.

It was also a useful tool for staff members to glean extra information about the resident’s early lives that otherwise they may not have known.
