We had quite a few takers to make the Valentine Gifts for loved ones this week.
It was particularly nice that a daughter and friend came to help Meadows Residents design and make the presents.
We had pre-cut out lots of hearts in reds, pinks and white tissue paper, making different sized ones so as the Residents could concentrate on their designs. As they did them we discussed what colours they thought went together and about sizes. It was fascinating to see how they all came out so different.
All the recipients loved receiving their surprise gifts and the residents were very proud and happy to have made them to give. There were lots of hugs, with some brought to tears!
