On a beautiful sunny September day we went to Polesden Lacey house and gardens in Bookham to visit where Mrs Greville used to live.
We were very lucky that one of our residents was able to borrow the motorised buggy and when we were all tired we got the minibus back to the entrance.
The house itself is very grand, and a pleasant yellow colour and we enjoyed exploring the first floor of the house. We particularly loved the furniture and the workmanship.
We then walked around the beautiful gardens, the herbaceous border, the rose garden, and the vegetable garden. We said hello to the chickens and admired the incredible view of Ranmore Common and the North Downs.
