Residents had a fun afternoon with Tim playing lots of 60’s & 70’s music. He is an accomplished guitarist, records all his own backing and has great speakers so making it really easy to hear.
People got into the spirit of the music being played and started dancing. One lady, in a wheelchair, wanted to dance so a carer danced with her by moving her around in her wheelchair… she couldn’t stop laughing and smiling at everyone, which got everyone around her giggling with her. She had the biggest smile for the rest of the afternoon.
This also got other residents dancing, either with other staff or in their seats. Another resident was dancing with her dog, at the back of the room, and said she hasn’t had so much fun in ages and that this was her era!
