We had living eggs here again this year, they arrived on the 10th of April, so we had the privilege of looking after them all over Easter.
Residents, family and friends all got involved, and the sweepstake we held was extremely popular. As soon as the eggs arrived, we numbered them from 1 to 10 and allowed residents to name each egg. Many of our residents held vigil next to the incubator, waiting for the chicks to hatch hoping theirs would be next.
To witness the chicks hatching and then being able to care for them was a wonderful experience, which made it a Happy Easter for all.
