Elton House would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Pets at Home Watford who very kindly donated two super cute guinea pigs who will become the latest two residents to join our Cheslyn community. Our residents love seeing the animals when they visit us and loved the idea of having a pet to care for, so we were delighted when we spoke to store Manager Livvy who said that Pets at Home completely understood the importance of Pet Therapy within care environments and would be only too happy to help. We took three residents with us to discuss the animal’s care needs with Pets at Home store assistant Paul and to choose our new furry friends. Our residents were very impressed with Paul at Pets at Home’s knowledge and attention to detail and are confident that the store will be on hand to answer any questions. Thanks again to the Pets at Home team and now we have the difficult task of choosing names…
