Today we threw open our doors for our annual Christmas Fair and began our countdown to Christmas itself. Guests were welcomed with a mince pie and glass of mulled wine before heading upstairs to visit the many stalls selling a variety of goods from flowers, gift cards, knitted toys, jewellery, Christmas decorations and much more.
Emma Young, one of our receptionists was selling her beautiful flower arrangements and Christmas wreaths, under the guise of The Kitchen Witch, and Gee, one of our carers, had a stall with her gorgeous home-made organic body and bath products called Organica. Residents Dennis and Shirley, together with their daughter Davina, had a stall with glass and chinaware. We were pleased to welcome some new stallholders this year who joined in with our other regular visitors to Parklands.
