Restaurant, Kitchen and Activities pulled together at Moorlands Lodge to host a ‘007’ extravaganza for the Residents.
The Restaurant Team became elegantly attired Bond Girls for the evening and served Vesper Martinis and Canapes at the Signature Café which had been tastefully adorned with James Bond bunting by the Activities team. As the Bond theme songs blasted across the Ground Floor smartly dressed Heads of Department emerged to escort the Residents through to the Dining Room which had been transformed in to a James Bond banqueting hall, styling tables that were themed after everything from “The Spy Who Loved Me” to “Diamonds are Forever”. Personalised Secret Agent, Licenses to Kill were carefully positioned in each place setting to show each Resident where to sit.
As a beautiful three course meal was served across the Dining Room, conversation flowed and the laughter that belted out in to the corridors drowned the dulcet tones of Shirley Bassey singing “Goldfinger”.
And to finish, the wonderful “Grandpa Spells” entertained everyone with their eclectic array of perfectly performed and familiar songs.
A fabulous evening, had by all.
