We are very excited here at Moorlands Lodge about the Dementia Choir we are starting in September for our residents, local care homes and for those living in the community with dementia. We have an experienced choirmaster, Janet Ayers who is going to lead the choir and our local church, St Luke’s in Grayshott has offered to host the occasion each month. As we all know the power of music is so important for those living with dementia and we are very keen to promote that singing is for everyone and ability is not at all necessary, the occasion is for fun and enjoyment.
