Cliveden Manor is currently hosting Marlow Museum’s exhibition, The Story of Marlow, in celebration of the Museum’s 10th anniversary.
The team were proud to open their doors to showcase the exhibition with a drinks and canapes evening, inviting many people working within Marlow’s charities and community groups.
Museum organisers Michael Hyde and Dave Part were delighted to attend and Dave returned one afternoon to give our residents a humorous and interesting talk on the work of the Museum.
We raised £131 for the Museum, raffling a hamper we donated – the winning ticket was drawn by Dave and the lucky winner was resident Lucy Baruch.
Dave Part commented,
‘The support we have had from Cliveden Manor has been overwhelming. This is such a new venture for us. We would like to reach out to our elderly community in Marlow and provide an outreach service as a vehicle for sharing the history of Marlow. Due to its success so far, we are hoping to offer our exhibition to other local care homes’.
