What could you need more on a hot day with temperatures of 30 degrees than your very own ice cream trolley!

It was decided that residents needed refreshing sweet treats one afternoon, so the Activities Team loaded a trolley full of ice cream – chocolate, strawberry and vanilla, cones, chocolate sauce and of course flakes and sprinkles. The mobile ice cream trolley was not complete without its own ice cream van music played on a phone.

Every floor was ventured, knocking on residents’ apartment doors to deliver cold ice cream with a smile! Exercise with Amanda had been taking place and afterwards, everyone got ice cream to cool them down.

Residents said they appreciated the novel experience and would love to see the ice cream trolley again soon!
