A week dedicated to wellbeing, relaxation and rehabilitation at Signature at Banstead. Our programme across the week blends pampering and nutrition, gentle movement and physio exercises for rehabilitation and feel-good fun for general wellbeing.
Pampering and Wellbeing – Monday 2nd March 1.00pm – 5.00pm
Pampering session for overall wellbeing and relaxation, to include hand and facial aromatherapy massages with Sarah. Nibble on nutritional healthy snacks and smoothies.
Falls Prevention Talk – Tuesday 3rd march 3.00pm – 4.00pm
Physio-led falls prevention talk and seated exercises with Frances from Fairhand visiting physiotherapists.
Mobility and Balance Check – Wednesday 4th March 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Short individual assessment checks with SBPT, our community physiotherapists, for mobility, strength and balance giving a practical insight into how these areas can be improved.
Chair Tai Chi and Mobility Maintenance – Thursday 5th March 3.00pm – 4.00pm
Chair Tai Chi gentle workout with Charles who will also be demonstrating his new leg exerciser for flexibility and rehabilitation in lower limbs.
Country and Western Feel Good Friday – Friday 6th March 3.00pm – 4.00pm
Finishing our Wellness Week with a Feel Good Friday that’s full of fun and positivity. Saddle up for a Country & Western themed afternoon with toe-tapping tunes from Lee, and wild west snacks. We will be raising money for BRACE, dementia charity.
