Dignity Action Day #DAD2020 is an annual opportunity for health and social care workers, and members of the public to uphold people’s rights to dignity and provide a truly memorable day for people who use care services. Every year, Dignity in Care demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest standards of care for our residents.
Coombe Hill Manor run a wide variety of activities to ensure everyone, including the residents, staff, family and visitors, have a great time and support this annual opportunity to highlight the importance of everyone’s right to dignity.
Debbie in Auguste enjoyed a “Dignity-tea” party with music appreciation, reminiscing through the ages and as usual, our residents raised the roof with them singing songs by Cliff Richard, Elvis Presley and The Rolling Stones! Carers and residents were invited to tell us what they thought that Dignity meant and these were written and put on our “Dignytree” for all to read. What does Dignity mean to you?
