This week we visited the D-Day Story Museum in Portsmouth. We spent the day looking around exhibitions, whilst we were walking around our residents were telling us about their wartime experiences.
With us, we had a gentleman who was in the RAF during the second world war and worked as a navigator this information hadn’t been shared with us before we visited the museum. It was a joy for us to listen to his stories.

Before heading home we enjoyed an afternoon tea laid out by the very helpful staff at the museum.
