In the run-up to our Christmas Fair and for Christmas residents were busy using their crafting skills to make items to sell on our stall and to decorate our home.
A Resident went out into the garden collecting beautiful fallen Autumn leaves that other Residents then laid out to be pressed for a week. These were then glued on to wire rings to make wreaths that looked particularly pretty when hung in a window and sold really well. Lavender Bags were also made and were popular.
One of our Residents is a talented artist and again this year painted 2 pictures that we then turned into Christmas Cards, which were spanned up. He surprised himself in being able to paint as he had broken his shoulder earlier on in the year and thought he would never paint again… his family were delighted!
Meadows Residents spent ages making paper chains to hang up around the place, which looked very festive.
Well done and thank you to all those who took part!
