This year for part of our Easter celebrations we had a treasure hunt around Coombe Hill Manor.
The residents, with help from us, and the carers had clues to find pictures of rabbits, which had a name by them. They then had to write the rabbits name on their paper. They had a total of 15 names to find. The last clue brought them back to the activity room where the Easter bunny had left a basket of eggs them.
The residents enjoyed themselves and it was a good way of getting some of them walking and exploring places in the building which they had forgotten about. (I think the carers may now be busy with spa baths as everyone wanted to stop off and have a luxury soak!!)
Our resident pianist, Jim, was one of the clues as a bunny was hiding on the piano! The first to finish the treasure hunt was Patricia with careers Sharon and Bev.
