MESSAGING SERVICE FOR CURRENT FAMILY MEMBERS
Our purpose at Signature Senior Lifestyle is to deliver exceptional care by compassionate people. During these uncertain times all of us have seen our lives dramatically changed by the pandemic and our hearts go out to every individual who has been impacted by the virus.
Whilst we continue to navigate our way through these unprecedented times we wanted to keep you informed of what measures we have been implementing as a business to ensure the Wellbeing of our residents. As a business we’ve purchased Facebook Portals so we can communicate easily with families. We’ve also introduced Microsoft TEAMs as an organisation, which gives us the ability to plan in video calls with your loved one. In the month of April alone we organised over 4,000 one-to-one video calls which means someone is video chatting, every hour of the day, in every single home.
We are continuing to look at how families can communicate with their loved one and are pleased to announce that we’ve created a messaging portal ( below). This gives you as a family the ability to send a personal message to your family member. This message will be sent direct to our activities team and every morning they will print off the message in letter format, pop it in an envelope and hand deliver it to the resident. We hope this initiative along with the increased facility to video call will support families and residents to keep in contact until the Government starts relaxing the isolation policy.
