Antoinette Roberts

General Manager

I have worked in care since 2003, starting as a registered manager for a domiciliary care agency, then the registered manager at a family owned dementia care home. Both roles gave me a solid care background and a passion for ensuring that the best care is delivered to our seniors. I have now worked at Signature at Winchester since 2012, starting as the Dementia Care Manager which I found very satisfying, and since September 2016 as the Deputy Manager. I thoroughly enjoy working with our residents, their families, and the entire care team to continually develop and improve on the excellent service we already provide.

Karolina Moniz

Deputy Manager

My name is Karolina Moniz. I am Polish and I live in Southampton with my husband and lovely two year old son. I finished my Masters degree of Nursing at the University of Wroclaw, Poland in 2012 and since then I have passionately pursued my love for health care and the wellbeing of others as a Nurse, working at Wroclaw Hospital on the Neurology Department and later in United Kingdom at different care homes. In 2018 I finished my course on management and in June 2018 I joined Signature at Bassett. This experience allows me to provide the highest level of service, which proves my strong commitment to perform my responsibilities in professional and effective manner. I also like to work in a team, where it feels like a family, and this is what I found at Signature. I have been working as Deputy Manager for Signature at Winchester since 2019, a position which has allowed me to develop my skills and prove that hard work can benefit in the future.

Emma Cole

Dementia Care Manager

I have been working in care since 2006 and joined Signature at Winchester in 2011. I became the Dementia Care Manager in 2016 which is a new and exciting experience for me, about which I feel really passionate. I am really proud to work at Signature and feel that I can make a difference in the everyday lives of the residents to make each day meaningful. The community is a wonderful place to work, and I get such joy from seeing our residents settle in and feel that they are at home. Working with a great team allows us to do the best for our residents and their families.

Louise Murkin

Activities and Volunteers Co-ordinator

I have been an Activities Co-ordinator for many years. I feel privileged to perform this role in our community, to have time to spend time with our residents in groups but also one to one, listening to their life stories and generally enjoying special moments with them.

I truly believe I have the best job in the community. It is a fulfilling and rewarding role and I enjoy it immensely. I have a strong activities team that help deliver a wide variety of activities. Signature at Winchester is a very special community.

Edyta Cyrta

Assisted Living Co-ordinator

My name is Edyta. I graduated from Southampton University as a mental health nurse 7 years ago. Since then I have been working at Signature in the Reminiscence department. I had an opportunity to take the position as Assisted Living Coordinator which I enjoy very much. I am interested in sport and I participate every year in Race for Life. My passions are mental health nursing and medicine management. I would like to develop my skills and future career in Signature.

Dawn Sanders

Client Liaison Manager

I joined Signature at Winchester in July 2017 and I feel blessed to be part of this very special community. My main role is to offer support and advice to families who are considering bringing a loved one into our community and I take great pride in helping prospective residents learn about how we can make a positive change to their quality of life. It makes me smile to see the difference in our residents when they come to Signature at Winchester and there is no greater reward for me than making people happy.

Paul Cooper

Community Relations Associate

I joined the home in 2016 after serving in the Army and working in local government. The main thrust of my work is in assisting the Director of Community Relations in her work with prospective residents, but also getting involved in many other aspects of work in the Community. I love talking with our residents and hearing their life memories – as much as I believe that I have had a varied, interesting and fascinating life to date, it does not compare with those of our residents, of whom I am in awe.

Katie How

Business Office Co-ordinator

I joined Signature at Winchester in May 2017 as Concierge and a few months later moved to the role of Business Office Coordinator, a job that I thoroughly enjoy. My dog Toffee accompanies me to work every day and can often be seen around the community entertaining residents and staff alike. I love the sense of family that we have here at Winchester, which makes coming to work every day something to look forward to. I tend to frequent the Bistro area at 3pm each day to ‘test’ the social afternoon cakes!
