Jackie Bennett

General Manager

Prior to joining Signature at Hendon Hall, I managed a hospice for a national charity for 12 years providing attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families. I have previously worked in the hospitality industry managing hotels and conference facilities, as well as leading customer service improvement for a local authority. I have a passion for providing long lasting happy memories whilst making a difference to others. Moving into the care sector was the best career decision I ever made, I feel I can really make a difference incorporating my hotel knowledge and skills as well as my passion for customer service. It feels like fate in a way, as when I started out my career it was a hard choice between hotels and nursing so it feels like this position with Signature is the natural one for me.

Working in the care sector you need to be a team worker, treating people with respect, dignity as well as having a ‘can do’ attitude. It’s a personal privilege and very rewarding to work in care where you can make a positive difference to the wellbeing, health and happiness of residents. I am very much looking forward to opening the marketing suite in June and meeting our prospective residents.

Julya Holden

Client Liaison Manager

I have had an incredible opportunity to live and work both in New Zealand and the UK, primarily my career has been in Real Estate and International Recruitment markets. My core experience lies within Sales and Learning & Development.

Naturally, I am passionate about creating an environment to ensure people become the best version of themselves, by winning hearts and growing minds. However, I wanted to make a bigger difference and a positive impact to my community – COVID gave me time to reflect on what is important. My personal mission is to lead the life of contribution and service, give back to our community and help enhance the quality of life for people in their later years.

My journey led me to Signature Senior Lifestyle and the Care Sector. To me there is no comparison, Signature at Hendon Hall is that hidden gem offering exceptional holistic care, luxurious living within exquisite surroundings.

I am privileged to be part of such a phenomenal and dedicated team who truly cares about the dignity and well-being of our residents, respected families, and friends. I very much look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful home.

Working in the hospitality industry for ten and half years has developed my love for engaging with and supporting people, building on relationships while also understanding what truly is meaningful to others.

I am excited and grateful to be working for such a wonderful company that employs compassionate and caring people who offer our residents exceptional service, a sense of security, a great community feel, and help residents live their lives to the fullest.

As a Customer Liaison manager, I offer my full support, trust and guidance, as well as a listening ear. Not only when you first come and visit us, but throughout your journey on moving to your new home. Peace of mind is ultimately the most important when choosing a care home, so I am excited to meet you and your loved ones to talk about what you need from us and what we can offer you here at Signature Hendon Hall.

Fiona Morton

Clinical Services Manager

After qualifying with a Masters in Nursing Science in 2012, I have been lucky enough to work throughout the UK and Australia within a wide range of specialities including accident and emergency, private health care, a maximum security prison and more recently have spent the last 5 years working within a hospice.

Whilst at the hospice, I moved quickly into management and became responsible for a team of wonderful nurses and carers, delivering specialist end of life care and symptom management to those with life limiting diseases. I also lead infection control, to ensure practice on the wards was both safe and up-to-date with any policy changes.

I have worked in the care sector all my life and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. There is nothing more rewarding than making a positive impact in the lives of others and witnessing this firsthand. I have a clear passion for person-centred care, empowering others to become active participants and this is why I was attracted to Signature at Hendon Hall due to its ethos and values.

I look forward to the challenges a new home represents, joining a fabulous team and the relationships that we will build with residents, their families and loved ones.

Dementia Care Manager

I have been lucky enough to have worked for Signature since 2018 and have had the pleasure of working for this great company, who have encouraged and mentored me to take the next step in my career. I am truly excited to be starting at Hendon Hall, working alongside a caring and empathetic team who all share the same ethos and values for delivering the best care possible.

I have worked in the care sector for the last 20 years, which has given me a great foundation and understanding to enable me to deliver the highest standards of person-centred care, ensuring our residents enjoy a fulfilling life.

I am passionate about ensuring our residents get the best out of every day and believe they can achieve anything with the right support, due care, and attention.

I feel passionately that our residents, their family, and friends receive the right support and holistic advice whilst on their Dementia and Alzheimer’s journey and the team at Hendon Hall, offer this support with compassion and dignity in this wonderful and luxurious setting.

Kenneth Sem Koranteng

Maintenance Assistant

I was born in Ghana, and I have a wonderful wife is called Ernestina and we are blessed with two lovely daughters.

I studied visual art and soon realised that I have a real passion for building and construction and surrounded myself in this sector for 12 years.

We moved to the UK in 2018 and I worked within housekeeping for about 6 months and joined Signature at Wimbledon in January 2019 again working in the housekeeping department and was promoted soon after as their Maintenance Assistance.

We have recently relocated to the Hendon area and I am very happy to be part of the Maintenance team at Signature, Hendon Hall working alongside Rory Manterfield, in this fabulous building and location supporting our residents, maintaining the facilities and grounds to the highest level.
