Tanya Riding

Director of Community Relations

I recently joined Signature of Frognal House and am thrilled to be part of this vibrant community. I had worked on a volunteer basis in Canada at a senior home for several years, assisting with activities, and loved the relationships I was able to develop with the residents. On a personal level, I witnessed the effects of Alzheimer’s Disease through my own mother and aunt, and experienced the effect it had on my own family, and decided that one day I would be in a position to give back to other families suffering the same crisis. Therefore, I am in my perfect element now. I feel privileged to be working with families that I encounter daily, listening to their stories and feeling their pain and identifying solutions to help their loved ones. And nothing lights up my day more than sharing a few laughs with residents that I now count as friends!

At Frognal our primary focus is ensuring that our residents are treated with utmost dignity and respect for them to live a happy and fulfilled life. This is achievable thanks to the unwavering effort and relentless hard work of team members who prove a daily basis that our role as carers is just not an ordinary vocation but a calling involving passion and empathy as core values.
