1 . Book Your Assessment
First, we’ll need to book in a date for your assessment. This is an important part of the process and one that is required by our regulatory board, the Care Quality Commission. It’s vital we have up-to-date information to ensure your comfort, safety and ability to settle in with us as quickly as possible.
We are always happy to travel to you so your assessment can be conducted at the most convenient place, whether that is your own home, a relative’s home or in hospital. Usually we are able to do this within 24 hours of confirmation that you’d like to become a resident.
Depending on how far we’ll need to travel, we may call on our highly trained colleagues at a Signature home nearer to you. Don’t worry though, we’ll always make sure you know exactly what is going on.
2 . Receive Confirmation of Care Levels
Within 24 hours of the completion of our assessment, we will confirm to you the care level we believe is most suitable. If you have questions or concerns, we will tell you how you can raise them with one of our team.

*This respite fee includes accommodation, food and drinks (including snacks), themed events and entertainment, housekeeping, laundry and ironing services, utilities and general maintenance, personal care services, including dressing, washing, bathing, oral hygiene, assistance with mobility, assistance with eating and drinking and assistance with social communities and engagement. The respite fee does not cover fees for Nursing Services or Additional Services (as defined in the Resident Agreement). Please see Schedule 3 of the Resident Agreement for an indicative list of Additional Services; a list of current services available and pricing will be available in the Community.
** Terms & Conditions: Offer is valid for 28 days from the date of the offer letter provided the resident moves in within 6 weeks of the date of the offer letter. Offer only applies to individuals who will be receiving respite care at Signature at Fleet. A minimum 4 week stay is required at point of move in to be eligible for one week (7 days) free. Offer applies to a maximum stay of 8 weeks (56 days) with a total of 2 weeks (14 days) free. Any respite stay of less than 4 weeks which is subsequently extended to a total of 4 weeks will not be eligible for the offer. Full prepayment is required of the fees for 3 weeks for a stay of 4 weeks and the fees for 6 weeks for a stay of 8 weeks. This offer only applies to Accommodation Services Fees and Care Services Fees and does not apply to any Additional Services Fees, Nursing Services Fees or any other fees (in each case as defined in the Resident Agreement).
