General Manager

I’ve always enjoyed working with older people. I like being able to ensure that their needs are met and that they receive top quality care at all times. I’ve been working in the care sector since 2005, and worked my way up through the ranks from Care Worker before first becoming Registered Manager in 2011. I’ve worked for a number of care companies including private, social services and not-for-profit care homes and managed two domiciliary agencies. I hold Level 5 in Health and Social Care, Level 3 in Dementia Leadership, Level 3 in Palliative Care, Level 2 in Mental Health, Level 2 in Nutrition and Health, Emergency Aid and others.

Clifford Owens

Hospitality Manager

Starting out in the kitchen, I have been fortunate to build my career from kitchen Commis Chef to General Manager within four and five star hotels in both the private and branded sectors.
Along the way I have been able to travel extensively both in the UK and internationally, working alongside many creative individuals, teams and cultures. My journey has also included hotel openings, rebranding, concept development and major renovations.
I am now excited to take my next career step into the healthcare sector, something I have been considering since closing down Hendon Hall as a hotel and prior to handing over to Signature at the beginning of 2019, and know my passion for people, food and service will transition smoothly across from hotels.
I am looking forward to learning new skills, getting to know all the residents and their families, as well as supporting and working with, the very experienced and caring team here at Esher.

Monika Siewierska

Deputy Manager

I joined Signature at Esher as a Senior Care Assistant in 2013, I progressed to Reminiscence Coordinator, I also managed the Assisted Living Department and now I am overseeing both departments as a Deputy Manager from September 2019. I also support the General Manager with Clinical Requirements and the Activities Coordinator with our Activities Programme.

The home has given me the opportunity to develop my skills, learn and progress. I am a qualified physiotherapist with hospital and private sector background. I am currently doing my Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care. I am passionate about the care and dedicated to provide a high quality service, tailored to the individual needs of each person. I am proud to be part of the Esher Team.

Stephanus Hendriksz

Activities Supervisor

I have worked in the care sector since 2019, I started at Signature at Weybridge and I joined Signature at Esher as an activities supervisor in February 2022. I am dedicated to the residents to make sure they get enough activities and entertainment to enjoy life and stay fit. Their mental wellbeing is very important especially after the covid pandemics. I aim to make sure they have as much fun as possible, but also build relationships with other residents and Team Members, as I feel we are one BIG family at Signature at Esher. I believe residents needs should always be put first, and their mental and physical wellbeing is our priority every day.

Biljana Ashfield

Dementia Care Manager

I joined Signature at Esher as a Senior Care Assistant Wellbeing in February 2019, I was then promoted to Dementia Care Manager in November 2019. I have been working in the care sector since 2003 and I was originally a nurse in my home country. I have managed two Residential Care Homes previously and I hold Level 4 in Health and Social Care. I enjoy working with elderly people, especially with dementia and the smile on their face gives me sense of achievement. My priority is to have a good relationship with residents, their families and staff to ensure that they feel welcome and at home.

Arunima Joby

Assisted Living Coordinator

I joined Signature at Esher in September 2010 as a Senior Care Assistant in Dementia Care . I progressed to be the Business Office Coordinator in January 2012. In March 2019, I was promoted to the Assisted Living Coordinator Role. I oversee the care and wellbeing of the residents in Assisted Living. I hold Masters in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Human Resource Management and Level 4 in Health and Social Care.

Signature is like my second home and the residents and staff are like my family. I have been very passionate about care and the caring sector since childhood and take after my mother who was a Nursing Supervisor and Head Nurse in Hospital Industry.

Joanna Perry

Client Liaison Manager

I joined Signature at Esher in February 2019. It is a pleasure to build relationships with residents and their families and friends, it can be a very difficult and emotional time when someone no longer thrives living alone, to make the move to residential living not only for the individual but also their family and friends. Sometimes the smallest of gestures can go a long way.

Jane Wells

Business Office Coordinator

I joined Signature at Esher in March 2019. Prior to starting at Signature I worked within the public care sector as a Human Resources Assistant, Finance and Payroll Manager for over 20 years. I enjoy getting to know residents, families and staff. I support General Manager and office administration and my door is always open.

Arkadiusz Sliwa

Head Chef

I re-joined Signature at Esher in April 2022. I have previously worked at Signature at Esher and Signature at Guildford for 7 years altogether.

I’m a passionate cook with an eye for detail who has worked in the care sector since 2011, where I gained my knowledge,  experience and qualifications.  ‘PASSION’ was always my top core value.

Cooking is an ‘ART’. As in painting, you mix colours and a beautiful picture manifests, so in cooking you have to be creative, full of passion, imaginative and  your meals will be like a piece of art beautifully presented on the plate.

I’m excited to be part of the Signature Family, working with our lovely residents and their families.

Kathryn Casey

Housekeeping Manager

I manage the Housekeeping Department and Laundry Department. My team and I ensure that the Community is well looked after through our cleaning and laundry service!

Prior to joining Signature at Esher in June 2020, I have worked in Finance, Care Work, Recruitment and Hospitality. I enjoy my job as a Housekeeping Manager as every day is different and it is a rewarding position, looking after the residents and working with such a lovely caring team here at Signature at Esher.

Dave Nicholson

Maintenance Manager

I joined Signature at Esher in June 2021 as maintenance co-ordinator. It is my first time working in a care environment which I am finding very rewarding. I look after the building repairing or replacing what is broken whilst looking after everyone’s health and safety.
