Signature at Bassett provides residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care. As you enter our community you walk into the open reception area which is comfortably furnished and boasts its own Café. People living at Signature at Bassett can meet with each other and their guests to enjoy a selection of beverages and home baked cakes, cookies and pastries, throughout the day.  In addition, our elegant, licensed restaurant offering a diverse and extensive menu is situated on the ground floor.  The community also has a private dining room which enables residents to receive guests for meals in a designated private area separate from the main restaurant.

Our terrace floor provides access to the landscape gardens and an additional Bistro area where drinks and snacks are available for residents and visitors.  This floor has a  hair salon and treatment room where residents can enjoy having hair and nail treatments as well as complementary therapies.

The reception is manned from 8:00am – 8.00pm by the concierge team.

The first floor offers the activities lounge which includes resident library with computer. There are a variety of activities that take place throughout the community during the day which residents can participate in if they wish.

The second floor incorporates the Reminiscence Neighbourhood which has a spacious open terrace to enable residents to be in the outdoors in a safe environment. This neighbourhood has kitchen area, dining room with two lounges and activity areas.

The care home consists of 98 suites all with en-suite facilities. This includes our Dementia Community with  29 suites of varying sizes. Overall, the suites are located across four floors and range from single studios, one bedroom and two-bedroom suites. All have suites have wet rooms with ample room for hoists and wheelchairs if necessary. All apartments have their own front doors.  Some apartments on terrace floor have a private patio area and all are fully equipped with a kitchenette facility and integral fridge.

Resident care is overseen by Nurses and Care Managers who also provide guidance to the care teams, ensuring that the service is fully compliant with the regulations.

In addition, we have a dedicated catering team who serve main meals in our restaurants and a housekeeping team who are responsible for the cleanliness of the home including resident apartments. A dedicated activities team are responsible for arranging in-house events and organising excursions using our own minibuses. Each home has a reception area which is operated twelve hours a day, ensuring that all visitors receive a warm welcome and are logged in and out of the home.

All Signature staff are trained to meet best practice standards for their respective roles including but not limited to; the Skills for Care recommended Care Certificate standards, Clinical Skills for CPD and revalidation and all new to social care employees are automatically offered the opportunity to complete their Level 2 Health & Social Care Qualification.
