I have worked for the elderly care sector for 25 years in various roles. Over the past 12 years I have worked in managerial roles for another care provider. I have a great empathy & passion for the individuals that we care for. I also understand the importance of including loved ones & those who are important to our residents. I am a compassionate, transparent & honest person who puts our residents needs at the forefront of what we do every day.

My decision to join Signature was based on the fact that we offer the highest standard of care as well as providing a luxury yet homely environment. I am excited about being a part of making Elton House a place that people can call home, yet where they receive the highest quality person-centred care.

Working as the Dementia Care Manager is the most rewarding role I could wish for, we are one big happy family! The staff have really pulled together, even more than usual over the last two challenging years. It really is a pleasure to supervise the Cheslyns community at Elton House and watch my team create such special bonds with the residents, we all truly care about the residents and their families.

Claire Grant

I have worked in the health care sector for over 16 years and within this time, I have developed my skills in leadership and management and really enjoy working within the care sector because of the genuine passion I have to care for the wonder that is our elderly generation. As Residential Care Manager at Signature Elton House, it is my responsibility to ensure that our residents are delivered the highest standards of person-centred care and that they are supported to live a fulfilling and happy life. I truly believe that all of our residents deserve nothing but the best and I am very lucky to be part of a caring and empathetic team who have the same ethos and strive to achieve this always. At Elton House, there really are no limits to what can be achieved with the state of the art facilities and the varied and fulfilling enrichment programme provided for our residents.

Karen Fleming 

I have previously worked in the NHS for 10 yrs, and feel it has given me a greater understanding of a person’s care needs. I have raised 3 grown up children and now have 3 grandchildren, family is very important to me.

I see all the people I meet within this role as part of our Signature Family making sure that people are treated as individuals, another part of my role is to make sure the care needs of the individual can be met, so our clients and their family members feel safe.

Jackie Chicken

Having worked in the retirement sector for four years, I was thrilled to join Elton House early in 2022 as Customer Liaison Manager, working alongside Karen. My previous career was spent in the luxury travel industry, so delivering excellent customer service has always been high on my agenda. Signature is known as the best in terms of quality of care and quality of design, so I feel very privileged to work for the best care provider in the country. My role at Elton House means I am the first point of contact for families starting out on that journey to find the best fit in terms of a caring environment for their family member. I love the fact that we provide person-centred care and I really enjoy showcasing the wonderful facilities, luxurious surroundings and exceptional staff we are fortunate to have at Elton House. Outside of work you can find me as a chaperone in the wings of a theatre supporting my daughter or cheering my son on from the side of a rugby pitch!

Orla Green

I have 24 years of experience in the care sector, the latter 4 being within the market leading Signature family. I initially held the position of Residential Care Manager at Elton House, which has given me a unique insight into the needs of our residents and the opportunity to build lasting and rewarding relationships with both residents and relatives.  I am now managing an engaged and dedicated team to deliver luxury hospitality throughout the home to our residents and their families. Delivering the highest standards of service and satisfaction is what our residents deserve and I take great pride in living up to expectations! Thanks to my experience within both sectors, I am uniquely placed to encourage harmony within the care and hospitality teams with the aim of delivering exceptional service. I am a very dedicated, passionate and hardworking member of the management team and I often go over and above what is expected to ensure a positive outcome.

I feel very blessed to belong to the Signature family and I am confident that we are able to make such a difference in crucial moments of an individual’s journey, whether it’s a lifestyle choice, a care need or a beautiful restaurant experience.

Tony Tripe

I have been part of the Elton team for 3 years now, allowing me to forge wonderful relationships with the residents and staff. My team and I aim to provide the very best culinary experience. With over 26 years experience in the catering industry, I have had the opportunity to work at many fantastic organisations, including GE, one of the world’s largest, global companies. During my time as Executive Chef at Elstree Studios, I enjoyed cooking for celebrities and took pride in my work being presented on many TV shows and adverts including Big Brother and Strictly Come Dancing. Whilst working at the Grove Hotel, I had the opportunity to cook for the England Football Team which led to a further commission of travelling to other venues with the team to provide their catering. I am excited to see Signature continue to grow through the hard work and passion of the signature team.

People Services Manager 

Hollie Dunton 

I have worked for Signature since July 2018 and am very proud to be one of the founder members of staff that supported our opening of Elton House in September 2018. My background is within people management and recruitment and I have worked within the Care Industry for the last 4 years. My role as ‘People Services Manager’ is to look after our staff at Elton House and guide them through their career pathways with relevant training and guidance. I hope to help staff at all levels in all departments reach their full potential and to make the recruitment process as exceptional as Elton House is.
