General Manager

Laura Hulett

My career in care started in 2009 after graduating from University with a Psychology degree, and I have been a manager of residential and nursing homes since 2013.

I am passionate about enabling residents to continue to live their lives as they did in their own homes. I also love being involved in the day-to-day running of a home, working alongside the team and getting to know our residents and their families.

I was attracted to Signature’s ethos of care and how our residents are encouraged to maintain the lifestyle they wish to lead. We have a real focus on resident wellbeing, with each resident enjoying a personalised level of care within a beautiful, well-kept home.

Senior Client Liaison Manager

Sarah Loveday

It is my role to meet people who are looking at care choices for either themselves or for a loved one, providing advice and guidance at what can be a very difficult and emotional time. I am proud to invite people to look around our lovely community and to see for themselves how our residents’ lives are enhanced with the care and support each person receives.

Care Services Manager

Mihail Gafincu

I am the Care Services Manager at Signature Cliveden Manor, committed to bringing my passion for care and over 25 years of experience in nursing to the next level.  After spending more than two decades in different nursing organisations, I understand what truly drives the passion, compassion and excellence in this profession. It is all about how we interact with people, especially elderly people, and how we understand their needs, as nursing is more than a profession – it is about empathy.

I joined Cliveden Manor as a Nursing Care Manager in March 2018.  I had previously worked in the National Health Service for 23 years, and before that for 2 years in private care. Moving from a senior role in an acute surgical environment in an NHS hospital to a management position in care of the elderly, became a new challenge.  In addition to my nursing experience, I have been a nursing lecturer and a mentor.  I joined Signature fascinated by the model of delivering care in a complex assisted living environment, driven by the same aim: excellence.

Nursing Care Manager

Mihaela Popa

I joined Signature in 2017 after newly qualifying as a nurse. I worked as a senior carer for my first 5 months to ensure I had a good understanding of the workings of the home. I then progressed to being one of our registered nurses for 2 years before being promoted to Nursing Care Manager.
I am driven by my passion for the elderly and providing exceptional care wherever I go. I am truly dedicated to the improvement and advancement of nursing techniques and delivering these in an environment that puts our residents at ease, allows them to have their freedom and enables them to live an enriched life.

Residential Care Manager

Tina Avery

I started my career in retail management and first joined the care sector in 1992, rising to Assistant House Manager in a care home before leaving to start a family.  I then worked in corporate events and the National Trust before joining Cliveden Manor in 2015.  I have had several roles in our lovely home, most recently in business administration & HR, and during this time I have been supported by Signature to gain qualifications in management and a CIPD Level 5.  Working in a care setting is the most rewarding thing I have done.  As Residential Care Manager, my focus is very much on the wellbeing of our residents, as they are supported and cared for by an efficient and professional team.

Dementia Care Manager

Daniella Johnson

I am excited to have started working with Signature in September 2019. I began my career in care in 2008, working as a senior carer in a private care home, going on to lead the Dementia neighbourhood as Coordinator for 5 years.
I am delighted to be a part of the Willows team and look forward to leading my dedicated team to ensure we deliver the best person-centred dementia care, enabling each individual resident to live a full and enriched life on their new journey. I consider myself lucky to share the journey with each person I meet living with Dementia.
Every day is different and to understand the needs of our residents, building relationships with them and keeping in touch with their families, is an important and rewarding job.

Activities Manager

Natalie Waller

I have worked in the care industry for five years, four of which have been with Signature.
The activities team and I strive for excellence in producing a varied and stimulating activities programme, to enrich our residents’ lives.
I am a very positive leader and have an enthusiastic outlook on activities at Cliveden Manor.

Head Chef

Andrew Eastwell

Some of my best memories are of cooking with my grandmother in her old brick house near London; she was always cooking and baking for our family and her friends in the local community.  I pursued my passion and completed a Hotel Management, Restaurant & Catering course.  This then took me to France where I studied at the College Maryse Bastie for two years in the Champagne region of Reims.  After living in San Diego for a while with my family, we moved back to England, where I worked in hotel restaurants before becoming Head Chef of a renowned village pub, which I enjoyed for 14 years.

I take great pride in the meals we prepare for our residents, using fresh seasonal ingredients and offering them well-balanced and creative menus.  As a team, we work closely with our residents, finding out what they enjoy most, and as well as our daily menus, we enjoy organising and cooking our various special themed events throughout the year.

Restaurant Manager

Alfio Fiumara

I have worked in the Hospitality Industry for 40 years within a restaurant environment, delivering high standards of service. This is my first experience in the care industry and I find my role very enjoyable and rewarding.

I like to meet different residents, listen to their comments, and try to satisfy their needs and expectations.

HR Manager

Sam Gayle

I have worked within retail for 21 years, completed various roles and responsibilities before finding my passion for human resources.
During the past 11 years, I have worked as a human resources manager and gained my CIPD qualification, while providing invaluable advice and guidance to colleagues at all levels across the business.
Signature is a young and vibrant company providing exceptional facilities and care across each home. I hope to bring fresh, innovative, ideas to improve processes and culture, creating a stable and caring environment where people want to live and work in.

House Keeping

Jo Blatchley-Andrews

For many years I worked cleaning private houses, before joining the team at Cliveden Manor as we opened in 2014.
I started working as a housekeeper and enjoyed the training and work involved in managing the team when our Housekeeping Manager was on leave.
I was delighted to be appointed Housekeeping Manager myself and now lead the team I have been so much a part of over the last five years. I am proud of the high standards we have at Cliveden Manor and how the housekeeping team are very much part of our residents’ lives, building relationships with them and joining in with our activities and events.

Maintenance Manager

Johnny Guerreiro

I worked for a health and safety company in Portugal for 14 years, as a regional services manager. Part of my role was performing health & safety inspections in schools, hospitals and care homes.

Four years ago I moved from Portugal to the UK and started to work in the care sector. Before joining Cliveden Manor, I was the Maintenance Manager of a similar large residential care home.

I am proud to work in our lovely home and my aim is to ensure a safe, compliant and comfortable environment for all our residents, team members and visitors.
