Testimonials | Signature Care Homes

My father moved into Cliveden Manor last month after a short stay in hospital. From the moment he moved in I couldn't ask for more. All the staff have been wonderful. Very caring and sensitive to his needs. They picked up where the hospital left off. From the start he has been made to feel that it is very much his home. His room is beautiful and spacious, with room for all the furniture he needs.

I have visited many care/nursing homes before my father moved in and there is no comparison. It's everything we hoped it would be - and much more.

Living at Cliveden Manor has significantly improved the quality of my mother's life. Every member of staff (without exception) is warm and friendly, knows my mother's name and speaks to her with warmth and caring. Nothing ever seems too much trouble. The rooms are lovely and the food of excellent quality. Most importantly, my mother is happy there and my stress/worry levels have greatly diminished.

Having been to several homes as my Mother's dementia has progressed, I can confidently say that Cliveden Manor is outstanding. The staff are so very kind and caring to her, and there are enough lovely and well-trained staff to ensure our Mother has the very best. In addition the whole environment is very carefully designed to provide a safe and attractive environment for her. That incidentally makes it a lovely place for family and friends to visit. I would also highlight the activities team, who are constantly finding ways to provide stimulation for he residents.

In summary - we are very happy indeed!

Making the decision to leave your family home of over 50 years and move into a Care Home environment is frightening and takes courage. Our father felt able to make that decision in large part because of the exceptional quality of Cliveden Manor.

From our first visit we were very impressed with the care and attention paid to its design, decor, facilities and staff. It has the air of a good quality hotel, welcoming, flexible and responsive to the needs and preferences of its residents and their families and friends. In the communal areas, the reception, lounge/cafe areas and dining room there is a lively buzz of residents enjoying each other's company, entertaining visitors and chatting to staff.

Most impressive and reassuring for us and for our father is the attitude and approach of all the managers and staff. During the transition when our father decided to stay for a trial month, they could not have been more helpful in ensuring that the move was as painless as possible. Since then everyone has been routinely friendly, courteous and respectful, perfectly happy to stop for a chat and to respond immediately to any requests and concerns.

Cliveden Manor is fantastic. It is like visiting a 5 star hotel. The facilities are outstanding and everywhere is tastefully furnished and luxurious, it really does take senior living to another level. Everyone is so friendly and the staff are kind and always so welcoming when you visit. The food is second to non, utterly outstanding with lots of choice and an exciting varied menu, the food is beautifully served and presented well.

I cannot praise Cliveden Manor enough it has exceeded all expectations and my mum is very happy to be living there. There really is nothing I would change or can find fault with,it is just outstanding. The kindness and care from the staff is amazing. They are a very tight team who are totally focused on their residents and their families.

Signature leads the way with their approach to senior living. This new care home in Marlow is simply superb on every level.

Finally my friend is living his life again

My friend was extremely worried about moving from the care home he was in to Cliveden Manor as it would be a completely different way of life for him. Rather than him being in a care home where the majority of the people were very sick and therefore unable to do any activities, he was moving to somewhere where there would be activities, if he wished, throughout each day. He needed to fit out his apartment, for the first time in his life he would have to choose furniture and bedding, so all in all a huge change for him.

We were reassured that every question we asked was answered clearly and truthfully. We ordered the furniture and it was delivered to the apartment and signed for by the staff there, so we didn't have to go over to sort out the delivery. We put the furniture together and moved as much of my friend's clothing over so that when he visited it before moving in, he knew that he was moving into a lovely new setting.

Since moving in, when he was welcomed by all the staff, which was appreciated, he has enjoyed the activities and tried out new things, and been out in the mini bus a few times, which he has thoroughly enjoyed. He has found things of interest to do and is living again. The food has been excellent and having two different places to eat has been really nice, and the fact that meal times aren't set at one time but a range given.
