General Manager

Mark Deadman

Thank you for taking the time to read our bio’s.  We love to see prospective customers, families and friends, new members of staff and the local community taking an interest in our community.

I am the General Manager for Ascot Grange.  My role is to ensure that we deliver what we say we do.  I am responsible for overall service delivery to our customers and community, inspiring and leading the onsite team and to ensure high standards of governance and compliance are achieved.

Over the last 20 years I have had the privilege of serving the healthcare sector through managing and leading frontline care services for our elderly population.  I have come into contact with many individuals who have willingly shared their life experiences and wisdom. This has reinforced my sense of duty and heightened my level of respect for our elders.

Over that time, I have been proud to lead and work alongside some amazing team members who have had a genuine passion for care and a true desire to serve.  I have learned a great deal from these colleagues along my career journey.

I am very much a people person.  I truly believe in the values of responsibility, integrity, kindness, compassion and doing what I can for others.  The care sector has afforded me the opportunity to ‘live’ these values in the workplace, for which I am truly grateful for.

I was immediately drawn to Signature because of the culture and principles the organisation aspires to.  After visiting Ascot Grange and meeting some of the residents and staff, I knew that this was where I wanted to work.   I subsequently joined the Ascot Grange team in January 2022.  I am now passionately working with the community and team here to take the home’s services forward.  The team and I are fully committed to embedding the core principles of empathy, care, compassion and integrity in to the Ascot Grange community.

Please note that my door is always open: do not hesitate to come and talk to me, should you need anything or if I can assist.

Thank you again for your interest in our community.

Client Liaison Manager

Louise Palmer

I have been in sales most of my career, more recently working with those who were requiring support in the property market wishing to downsize which comes with a personal involvement. Having had to research a care home for my mother-in-law, I realized that the role of Customer Liaison Manager was one that I wanted to pursue. I am looking forward to working at Ascot Grange to help support those looking for care or a lifestyle change, it will be rewarding to get to know the residents in such lovely surroundings and with the dedicated staff.

Client Liaison Manager

Gill Bonham

I am delighted to be working here at Ascot Grange, joining the team of experienced professionals.
I have spent much of my career working in Hotel Sales and have always enjoyed helping our clients and guests to ensure we deliver excellence for every visit and event. I joined Signature in March 2021 as a COVID Testing Co-ordinator and thoroughly loved being in the care environment. I am now very excited to further my knowledge working as a Customer Liaison Manager here at Ascot Grange working alongside my colleague Louise.

When not in the office I love sport and play cricket and golf. I also enjoy running and love to Ski in the winter.

Hospitality Manager

Greg Novelli

Having started my journey with Signature at Ascot Grange just over a year ago, I still feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to work in such a wonderful place with caring residents and staff alike. I have seen the home go from strength to strength and with the addition of new heads of department to the team, I am sure the home will continue to grow and increase from the solid foundations being built. I will continue to bring my knowledge from my past experiences and the experiences over the past year and continue to pair it with the vision and values that Signature at Ascot Grange and the people, both staff and residents here embody. I am looking forward to meeting you all when our current climate allows. My door will always be open if you want a chat.

Living with dementia is a new adventure and I feel privileged to be able to share this journey with our residents.

I’m passionate about supporting our residents to live a full and meaningful life with their dementia. I’m really proud to work with my dedicated team to ensure we deliver a person-centred dementia care in the highest standard and to provide information and support families in understanding dementia better.

Maintenance Manager

Gaven Prince

I started my Signature adventure in May 2020 here at Ascot Grange, just as we entered into the pandemic as Maintenance Assistant. This was my first experience working in a care home in the UK. Before I started in the care industry I was in South Africa and worked in the hospital sector doing their Maintenance. I have now been with Signature for going on 2 years, and proud to say I have been promoted into the Maintenance Engineer / Manager role. It has been an interesting and challenging time, but also an extremely rewarding journey as well.

The Wellbeing, Dignity, Security and Happiness of our residents is at the forefront of everything I do, and I strive to make Ascot a home from home, for all that come through our doors. I look forward to making more happy memories with staff and residents, for many more years to come.
