Claire Cullen

I am delighted at my appointment as General Manager, Signature Ascot Grange, which commenced on the 15th April 2019.
I’ve been within care for 21 years in which I have managed a number of homes during my career as well as supporting additional homes regionally.

originally began my career in Finance progressing to a Senior Finance Business Partner role in the Health Sector before deciding to move to an operational role having enjoyed the resident experience and being able to influence a difference to enhance the lives of the individuals, we are privileged to care for.

On a personal level, I have been married to my husband Paul, for 24 years and have two wonderful boys, Scott & Ed. Family and friends are incredibly important to me with my weekends and holidays always full of social events and quality time together. Holidays, eating out and planning events are all things I thoroughly enjoy with shopping in any form being an all-time passion.

Candy Guo

Dementia Care Manager

I am originally from China, where I trained as a general nurse. I have worked in the care sector for over 10 years, specialising in dementia care. The most enjoyable part of my role is the residents, all of whom have fantastic life stories and to whom I owe so much. I had the privilege to join the Ascot Grange team in the role of a Dementia Care Manager.

My passion in dementia care is to support the care team in providing the unique and highly skilled person-centred care for those living with dementia, to maintain a fulfilling, meaningful and dignified lifestyle in a safe and friendly environment.

Residential Care Manager

Alison Johnson

I made the decision to go into social care after my own family had grown up, which allowed me to pursue a career of my choice.
My background is in dementia, where I started as a carer and progressed to head of care (Assistant Manager). I completed during this period my levels 3 and 5 diplomas in health and social care. I also completed my diploma in Leadership and Management.

I would describe myself as being both passionate and dedicated to providing exceptional care for the people I am helping to support. I also recognise the importance of supporting my team and encouraging us all to work in unity, with the only goal being to provide the best care possible for all our residents.

Toby Speller

Client Liaison Manager

It is my responsibility to meet with those who are looking at care or lifestyle options for themselves or a loved one, providing advice and guidance during what is often a very emotional and difficult time.
I am proud to invite people to look round Ascot Grange and to see for themselves how our residents lives are enhanced by the care and support they receive form our kind and professional care and nursing teams. Ascot Grange is a great place to be and it is a privilege for me to be part of a caring and dedicated team, delivering first class care and nursing whilst maintaining the dignity of our residents. The families and prospective residents who look round soon realise the benefits Ascot Grange have to offer not just in terms of quality care, but in that of first class hospitality, entertainment and activities.

Lukas Marchlewski

Restaurant Manager

I’ve been working in the hospitality industry for over 12 years and feel delighted to be part  Ascot Grange.

I have a mixture of experiences gathered from different establishments, mostly 4 and 5-star hotels and award-winning restaurants. I strive for perfection, both in floor service as well as in food presentation, which enables our residents to experience five-star dining. My priority is to make our residents are looked after; talking them through the menu choices and all their individual nutritional/dietary requirements.

I enjoy working closely with the head chef which helps me deliver impeccable and friendly service. We offer food forums for our residents which gives them the chance to express their comments on the food and service offered. Our regular food forums are a great opportunity for residents to provide feedback, which we duly note and action upon to ensure that every resident has the best possible experience.
