Winifried Boyle at Cliveden Manor has been very keen to raise money for the ‘Stroke Association’. Winefried has been working with the activities team to organise a ‘Wear It Purple’ afternoon. Tim Valentine started the afternoon off with beautiful piano music. Tim is an international pianist whose style is unique, and although he is unable to read music, he has taught himself to play ‘by ear’. This followed with tea & cakes in the Signature Cafe. Also, we had four books signed by the local celebrity chef ‘Tom Kerridge’, which we raffled. The money raised from the ‘Wear It Purple’ afternoon and the raffle have been added together totalling £400.21!!! Well Done Cliveden Manor! We will be donating the money to the ‘Marlow Stroke Association’.
