Who doesn’t enjoy a good film? The best cinema visits offer us a glimpse into a different world, ask us to question our own experiences, or simply provide fun, laughter and escapism. Enjoying a film with friends and family often leads to hours of discussion, shared feelings and an opportunity to learn more about those you love.

At Signature, the accessible and communal nature of a cinema visit is something we have always been keen to offer. Most of our homes have a purpose-built cinema featuring surround sound, a large projector screen, comfortable seating and often a popcorn machine too! A Silver Screen art deco style is common within Signature cinemas, and popular stars of classic cinema often feature on our walls.

Matinees and Main Events

Signature at Wandsworth Common is no exception here, and we have spared no expense in installing a beautiful purpose-built cinema for our residents to enjoy. Our cinema will be a lovely option for evening entertainment – what better way to spend an evening than with a drink in our beautiful Sky Lounge bar with views across London’s skyline, followed by a classic film with friends?

Our cinemas aren’t just for evening use though. We offer scheduled matinees featuring classic films as well as contemporary comedies and dramas. Our residents are always welcome to request their own choice of film too, either for everyone to come to or for a private screening with family, friends and grandchildren.

Your Life in Pictures

Our cinemas have also been used to host “This is Your Life” events for our residents – a celebration of someone’s life featuring their own pictures and videos. This can be the perfect way to celebrate a big birthday or anniversary by inviting friends and family to attend in our cinema.
