Our Homes Honour Many Cultures and Celebrations.

All our homes love celebrating special calendar days such as Halloween and The Commonwealth Games in which all our homes held their own competitions with prizes and medals check it out here. For Signature to acknowledge the importance of diversity and inclusion for our residents and care team different cultural celebrations were held to show respect and open-mindedness; celebrating our differences, as well as our common interests, helps unite and educate us all. Understanding other’s perspectives can broaden our own, and to fully experience and educate ourselves, learning more about each other can create a comfortable space.

These days include new activities with colourful and fun decorations:

Chinese New Year

Is a popular day worldwide celebrated by many, including us. 2022 is the Year of the Tiger, which is associated with adventure! Chinese New Year starts with a loving family dinner which was served as a big buffet of Chinese food in Signature at Banstead, Coombe Hill Manor, Bentley House and many more.

Rosh Hashanah

Jewish New Year is celebrated as the birthday of the universe. It’s also a time to show compassion. At Elton House residents were welcomed to paint customary small  pebbles or stones because for many it is symbolical of helping keep their loved ones close to their heart when they pass away.
