We are very lucky to have 4 pupils from St. George’s School come to do a different activity with use every week. This first started before Christmas and they have been coming regularly, bar holidays, since then. This is for part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award and will continue for a while longer.
This week we set up Bingo for them to do with the Residents. It started off quite quietly, but as more numbers on the cards got covered, tensions rose to shout out ‘Bingo!’ and win a chocolate prize.
It soon transpired that everyone wanted to have the chance to shout out ‘Bingo!’, even their teacher, so we carried on for quite a few more rounds and after a while those who had won already stepped down from winning so others had a chance… otherwise one of the pupils would have scooped up nearly all the prizes! He was very generous and was giving chocolates to others.
