We had the lovely Beth Sherburn come to sing to us in the garden and we were also blessed with a beautiful sunny afternoon.

She sung a wide range of songs from the 40s to the 70s, so everyone enjoyed something or all of it. They enjoyed it so much that some were waving their arms like conductors, tapping their feet to the music and also up dancing. It was touching to see them inviting each other to dance too.

Beth was thrilled to see this and also to sing in such a beautiful setting with the huge pond and fountain behind her.

Afterwards some of the residents stayed on chatting and relaxing in the early evening sun.
