Mark who is one of our Client Liaison Managers here at Coombe Hill Manor entertained the residents last week with some gentle Basketball exercise.

A fun and interactive session whereby Mark was able to engage with the residents around how to pass, bounce and shoot a basketball with the aid of a small indoor basketball ring.

Mark, who used to play basketball at a senior level, also educated the residents and staff about the history of the game and its connection with the local area.

Mark said, “it was wonderful to see so many smiley faces and interest in the game – topped by one resident reminiscing around her time growing up and playing basketball at college”.

With other sessions planned, Mark hopes this will grow in popularity as the Activities Team continue to evolve their creative and exciting activities programme.
