We booked out 3rd floor lounge area for a family get together. We supplied our own food and treated the areas as our own front room. We had a great time with my mother and she enjoyed being with myself and my brother and our children and grandchildren. We felt very comfortable and felt that it was a great area to hold family get together's. We have had a couple of these gatherings and it works so well in the area. The lounge is not wildly used which is a shame not to utilise. Maybe it might be a good idea to offer the room out.

My Mother has been an independent competent woman all her life but at 89 and suffering from dementia she needed care but was not willing to accept it. The staff at CHM knew what to do & gradually she is settling in. I highly recommend CHM. It's a beautiful home with wonderful staff.

My uncle is now a resident at Ascot Grange. The move was very easy and trouble-free. All of the staff have been most helpful at all stages of the move, including organising his furniture, hanging his pictures, showing him around the site, dealing with his medication and clinical needs, and making him feel welcome.
Having lived on his own for a very long time, such a move was likely to be difficult, but each member of staff has helped to make this transition as easy as possible. He is very happy with the service and attention that he receives, even the restaurant is catering for his little foibles and preferences. From an administrative viewpoint, the move has been as easy as I can imagine too.

Thank you. All is sorted and nan has moved in - within a day already there is such a big difference in her, and it's the best thing to witness and feel like we are gradually getting her back.
I can't thank everyone enough for their support this week in making the transition as smooth as possible for her and us. Nothing is too much for anyone. Everyone has been complete superstars. A special thanks to one of the maintenance guys, who went out of his way to sort me a phone charger after an agonising wait on Wednesday; Mel, who looked after nan yesterday and gave her a bath, hair wash and moisturised her from top to bottom - Nan said she felt like a different person; and Jo, who has been checking in on nan (and I) over the past days and shows a true love and compassion towards the residents, which is a pure joy to see.

I will forever be grateful for meeting with you and for your tour of Pembroke House, as I feel that Nan is now in the best place and the best caring hands.

It is charming in every way - a home from home but 100% nicer!

From the receptionist onwards, everyone was wonderful - food was delicious, an utterly brilliant chef. They manage to create a wonderful atmosphere of a first class hotel with a lot of personal attention and warmth.

Looked at many homes and even tried one for my mum who stayed 2 months in one. Found Moorlands by chance and it was my luckiest day in a long while. Even during the final build stage the management let me look and select the best room for mothers needs. Rooms are mini flats with great outlook. Independent living, not nursing home feel. More like a hotel with amazingly caring staff from chef to manager. Can even have a family meal in special room provided. Just wonderful.

My Dad moved into Parklands initially for respite, this was a difficult decision for the family to make as we have placed Dad in two other care homes for respite, but it was clear that this didn't work for him or us as a family and felt we had to move him and find somewhere where he would be happy

Parklands Manor welcomed Dad at short notice and really made the transition seamless. I can't thank them enough. All staff were amazing, they got to know Dad and what he liked doing.

The home is amazing, surroundings are fab, care staff and management are very friendly and caring, they have truly made a difference!

A huge thank you to Parklands and I would highly recommend the home. It has given us that reassurance that Dad is receiving excellent care.
