20th November

THE QUEEN HAS BEEN MARRIED TO PRINCE PHILIP FOR 70 YEARS TODAY – MANY CONGRATULATIONS TO THEM BOTH

11.15am Come and join Katy in the Activity Room for our Oomph session this morning – come along for a singsong and a dance

1.45pm Dominoes Challenge with Jayne and volunteer Kowshika in the Activities Room – Please note new location due to high demand

After lunch on Beacon Knoll: At 4.15pm Approximately Bistro coffee visits wih Jayne for individuals

6.45pm Carpet Bowls Evening with Jayne in the downstairs lounge area

21st November

Before lunch on Beacon Knoll: From 10.30am Pottery Class with Teacher Rachel and Jayne

11am Come and join Laura in the Reception Area for our Countdown Challenge

After lunch on Beacon Knoll: Finger print Christmas Card making with Jayne and volunteer Preeya for individuals

1.30pm Laura spends 1 to 1 time with individuals

2.30pm Come and join Katy and Jayne in the Activity Room for our monthly Parkinson’s group this afternoon

3.15pm Garden walks with Laura for individuals

6.45pm Come and join Katy in the Reception Area for our Quiz Night this evening

22nd November

From 10am Our Complimentary Therapist Claudene is here today. She will be working on Beacon Knoll and Langton.

11am Come and join Laura in the Reception Area for a game of Family Fortunes

1.30pm Reminiscence Newspaper discussion with Laura in the Reception Area

From 10.30am Garden walks with Laura (weather permitting) or 1 to 1 time with individuals

1.45pm Depart Reception with Laura and Jayne for a visit to the local Co-op store and a breath of fresh air

2.30pm Patchwork Making session with Sarah and Katy in the Activity Room

After lunch on Beacon Knoll: At 3.30pm approximately – Aqua paint art with Laura

6.45pm Proverb Challenge with the Receptionist in the Reception Area

Friday
24th November

Before lunch on Beacon Knoll: Spiritual one to one time with Jayne

11am Come and join Laura in the Reception Area for our Alphabet Challenge

After lunch on Beacon Knoll: Impromptu singalong and movement session with Laura and Jayne this afternoon

3.15pm Come and join Jayne and Laura for our Afternoon Tea in the Reception Area this afternoon – PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THE AFTERNOON TEA, THOSE STAFF WHO HAVE BEEN AWARDED A RECOGNITION AWARD WILL RECEIVE THEM DURING THIS EVENT

7pm Come and join the Receptionist for a crossword challenge this evening, in the Reception Area

25th November

10.45am Scrabble morning with Laura in the Activities Room

After lunch on Beacon Knoll: Games afternoon with Laura

From 2pm THE ACTIVITY ROOM IS BEING USED FOR A PRIVATE EVENT AT THIS TIME AND THEREFORE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR RESIDENT USE, APOLOGIES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSE

3.30pm Laura spends 1 to 1 time with individuals

6.25pm Come and watch Strictly Come Dancing in the downstairs lounge area whilst enjoying some popcorn, with the Receptionist

Sunday
26th November

11am The reminiscence newspaper will be handed out this morning by the Receptionist for those residents who wish to read it

2pm Film time- Come and join the Receptionist for an afternoon film – a selection of films will be provided for you to choose from.

6.15pm Come and join us in the downstairs lounge are to watch Countryfile on BBC1 followed by the Strictly Come Dancing results show, whilst enjoying a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows, with the Receptionist
