Monday
15th May

11.15am Come and join Katy in the Activity Room for our Oomph session this morning – come along for a singalong and a dance

1.30pm Games afternoon with Jayne in the Reception Area

1.30pm Garden walks with Katy for individuals

After lunch on Beacon Knoll: 3pm approximately – Bistro coffee visits/Garden walks with Jayne

7pm Come and join Jayne in the downstairs lounge area for our evening carpet bowls session with our volunteer Simran and an interval for some nibbles

Tuesday
16th May

Before lunch on Beacon Knoll: Depart Reception with Jayne and Sabera to the Botanical Gardens

11am “Finishing Lyrics” challenge with Laura in the Reception Area

After lunch on Beacon Knoll: Indoor carpet bowls with Jayne

1.30pm “Call To Mind” Board game with Sabera in the Reception Area

2pm-3.30pm COME AND JOIN KATY AND LAURA IN THE ACTIVITIES ROOM FOR OUR VERY FIRST SOUTH LODGE

PARKINSON’S GROUP. WE WILL HAVE
VISITING US, JACKIE CONN AND HELEN
BREWIN FROM PARKINSON’S UK. IT WOULD BE FANTASTIC TO HAVE YOUR SUPPPORT FOR THIS NEW MONTHLY MEETING.

3pm Sabera will be visiting residents offering 1 to 1 time this afternoon

3pm Jayne spends 1 to 1 time with individuals

6.45pm Come and join Katy in the Reception Area for our Quiz Night this evening – refreshments will be provided

Our Complimentary Therapist Claudene is here today and she will be working on Foxton and Charnwood. If you would like to be visited by her, please let the Reception desk know or the activities team and Claudene will do her best to see as many residents as possible.

6.45pm Come and watch some evening TV
in the downstairs lounge area whilst enjoying some popcorn and a Gin and Tonic

21st May

11am Come and join us in the downstairs lounge area to watch “Treasure Houses of Britain” presented by Selina Scott- Today’s stately home that we will discover will be Burghley House

1.30pm The reminiscence newspaper will be handed out by the receptionist this afternoon for those residents who wish to have a read through it

3pm The giant puzzles will be handed out for those residents who wish to have a go at completing
them this afternoon

6.30pm Come and join us in the downstairs lounge
area to watch Country File, whilst enjoying a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows, with the
Receptionist
