Every year South Lodge takes part in the annual NAPA (National Activity Providers Association) Challenge. This year’s theme was to host a Right Royal Street Party to honour the Queen’s 90th Birthday. The residents have worked incredibly hard over the past 4 months to prepare for this big event, making their own Royal Family from clay in their pottery class, designing and creating 100 medallions for their guests to take with them as a piece of memorabilia from the day. The residents chose everything from the colour scheme, to the type of food they wished to eat (1940’s) and the musical entertainment they wished to have. The weather turned out to be typically British raining on and off throughout the day, however this did not dampen anyone’s’ spirits and we partied all afternoon long!
