Louise Wood Wins a Purple Award

louise wood wins a purple award at rosebery manor

Louise Wood, CLM of Signature’s Rosebery Manor home, has been presented with a Purple Award on the 23rd of May. The recognition came from Marcus Brocq, another CLM based on the company’s Hindhead home, Moorlands Lodge. In addition to such a great honour, she has also been gifted with a “huge Magnum of Bollinger and a forest of flowers.”
Louise’s nomination stems from her big dedication towards not only her own care home, but also others.
After noticing Marcus’ home was struggling with occupancy, she suggested to have an Open Day for Ottershaw – one of the homes still under construction – at Moorlands Lodge, in order to increase the prospects of both homes at the same time.
The idea was to show potential residents and their families how amazing a fully operational Signature care home can be. Obviously, it was also an easy choice for those who liked what they were seeing, but couldn’t wait for the construction of Ottershaw to be finished. In which case, to become a resident at Moorlands would be the smartest choice.
As the event was advertised in Chertsey papers, it helped heighten overall awareness of the Moorlands home, while simultaneously introducing many people to Ottershaw.
The idea was so good it was then emulated for the Reigate prospects at Rosebery Manor itself, on the same day Louise won the Purple Award. And they already started getting a lot of interest for both places, from a lot of people looking to change their lives for the better.
